About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and reliable Tyre Technician to join our team at Ingham in Hamilton. This hands-on role is vital to ensuring our customers stay safe on the road. You’ll be responsible for fitting, balancing, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a wide range of vehicles — everything from everyday cars to premium models.

Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, we’ll give you the tools and training you need to succeed.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Tyre fitting, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, and rotation
• Conduct tyre inspections and report on wear or safety concerns
• Assist with wheel alignments (training provided if needed)
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and safe work practices
• Provide friendly, professional service to our customers
• Keep accurate records of work carried out

What We’re Looking For:

• Tyre fitting experience is preferred, but full training available for the right person
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
• A full NZ driver’s licence (restricted may be considered) with the ability to drive manual if required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable and punctual with a customer-first mindset
