A great opportunity has opened to join our team at Ingham Hamilton!
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dealership in Te Rapa, Hamilton. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

As our Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and business partners. We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who can think on their feet, and confidently work independently.

You’ll combine customer service with a variety of administration and accounts duties, helping to ensure our dealership runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class customer service to all visitors and callers.
  • Assist in all administration tasks within the dealership, assisting sales and management as required.
  • Assist with daily processing of bank statements, reconciling accounts, EFTPOS,      and accounts journals.
  • Generate sales ledger invoices and follow up on debtors across departments.
  • Process bank deposits for cash received.
  • Act as liaison with business partners, departments, and other Ingham dealerships.
  • Provide cover for other administration staff during absences.
  • Ensure all data is accurately and efficiently entered into the correct business systems.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, friendly manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good computer literacy and accurate data entry skills.
  • Confidence in handling customer contact in a busy environment.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Clean NZ driver licence.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry (advantageous, but not essential).
