About the Role

• Perform servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance
• Work on a range of petrol, hybrid, and EV models from Ford
• Maintain quality workmanship to manufacturer standards
• Support junior team members and contribute to workshop excellence
• Build relationships with local customers and ensure service satisfaction

Your responsibilities

• As a Technician, you are, above all, responsible for performing all kinds of service operations (inspections), defined assembly operations, and maintenance repairs to customer and company vehicles with the highest level of quality and efficiency.  
• Ensure that all servicing and repairs follow specifications and standards supplied by Ingham and its business partners.
• Support and contribute to the effective operation of the Parts, Service, (Panel & Paint – if applicable) Departments
• Consistently contribute to attaining all Dealership Parts & Service Targets
• Utilise skills and knowledge to diagnose problems with a range of vehicles
• Work autonomously with limited management input
• Contribute to providing outstanding customer satisfaction by repairing and servicing all allocated vehicles to meet Ingham and its business partners standards.

What You Bring

• National Certificate in Automotive Engineering (or international equivalent) or 3+ years experience in repairing, servicing, and maintenance of motor vehicles
• Strong skills in diagnostics and mechanical repair
• Ford (or other franchise) experience is a plus
• WOF authority preferred but not essential
• Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
• Good communication and a team-first attitude

  

What We Offer

• Wage rates between $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• Overtime rate will be paid at your normal pay rate.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with rostered Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
• This is a permanent, full-time role offering a 40-hour minimum work week.
